Petra is an ancient city carved into the rock in southern Jordan.
It flourished as the capital of the Nabataeans from around the 4th century BC.
Passing the narrow gorge called the Siq, the facade known as Al-Khazneh appears.
It was listed as UNESCO World Heritage in 1985.
