Delphi is the site of the temple of Apollo on the slopes of Mount Parnassus in Greece.

Ancient records say the priestess called the Pythia delivered the oracle there.

'Know thyself' is recorded as inscribed at the temple entrance.

The site was listed as UNESCO World Heritage in 1987.
